Center counsels.
Hers the deal... Want to put a firebird counsel "87".. Into my 89 Rs. Now am i going to have to do some cutting or will this just slip right into place? I liek the look of the firebird one a we bit better.

Well, the Camaro ones have theradio & AC/heater controls, as part of the center console, whereas, the Pontiac radio & AC/heater controls, are in a separate unit, that isn't part of the center console.

i had to cut the camaro console to put it in my t/a so i would think that you just have to put in bolt holes for the radio pod. and when i say cut i meant trim and very little at that.i was thinking the opposite than you though i like the camaro console looks better than the t/a consoles(2 piece) good luck though post some pics if you do it
here are the pics of the reverse swap of what you're thinking. you can jsut see the little that i trimmed. so doing the reverse in a camaro should be fairly easy. i would like to see the finished product
