i'm not too sure if this is a subject for the body group or this group but anyway, i just painted the inside of my door jams and something on the underside of my door is scratching the paint...it did this when it was the original color too...i'm wondering on a way to get this to stop scratching (i cant figure out what is scratching) and i was thinking maybe some grip tape from a skateboard shop...but i'm not too sure...any suggestions?

 

how are your hinges ?

open door about half way and lift up . if it moves your hinges need repair.

mine were bad and were scratching the sill at the back of the door

 

check your hinges. that was my problem too.

 

i think the hinges are actually pretty good still...i did notice the weather stripping on the bottom was cracked and old and stuff...i dunno if that could be the culprit...i dont really want to have to take off these doors though lolnot gonna lie lol
