Speedometer off with new gear
Hello, I had my gear switched to a 3:42 and now my speedometer is off, it show's I am going way too fast. How do I get it corrected with new gear to read right? Thanks! Andy

You need to change the speedometer gears in the transmission to match the new gearing in the rear.

Do I have to take it back to have it done or is it simple to do? Thanks! Andy

On a 700R4 it's relatively simple to do. Check the tech articles for directions.

Finally was able to get up to speed with new gear today, rear tires sound like they were at limit, loud spinning sound, I have to take car back to shop this weekend again to re check, something is not right. Andy
