i have intermediate problems with my drivers side window. I tried switching the switch and it did not work. I heard the relay working but no moving. eventually it moved up but it took a while. What causes this. dirty contacts?

Re: problem with windows

More than likely the motor is going out. These cars are notorious for the power window motors to stop working.

Re: problem with windows

but when they decide to work which is most of the time they roll up well and fast. just didn't know if maybe water got past the window sweeps and maybe corroded the terminals or something. just did not know if anyone else has come across this problem.
