Re: kick panle carpet

I was wondering the same thing for my 89 GTA. A good option would be a junkyard. Even if the pannel looks like garbage, you can take the carpet off and glue it to your pannel. There shouldnt' be any mold in them, since it's nylon.

Re: kick panle carpet

if you are replacing your carpet also just call acc and get some extra carpet without the backing for them. and then some 3m hd adhesive.

Re: kick panle carpet

jstoltz, with your solution you miss the other seam! i also thought about that but it's not a great replacement imho... still looking for a completely original looking solution..
btw, does the rear panel carpeting have these seams originally?

thanks

Re: kick panle carpet

are we talking about the original kickpanel carpet or the trunkpanels? (i guess the latter) i just wanted to know about the original trunkpanels, because i might order some carpet for these for my 84 TA from stockinteriors.. and they definately have no seam.

Re: kick panle carpet

kick panels. My trunk (rear hatch panels on yours) didn't have any carpet on them.
