Re: big annoyance
There's no adjustment. The "canel cam" inside the column is probably just busted and needs to be replaced.

Re: big annoyance
you have to pull the steering wheel off and the star shaped plate under it, which really sucks trying to take off, i finally just bought a tool to take it off, it has a spring under it and a clip on top of it you have to compress the plate and spring to take the clip off and the canceling cam is underneath of it.

Re: big annoyance
If the signal still cancels (albeit late) the turn cancel cam and springs are still good.
Usually when you see this type of problem it is caused by someone putting the steering wheel on wrong.
I hope I can explain this right... If someone were to set the toe-in of the car incorrectly and the steering wheel ends up crooked, instead of fixing the alignment, they take off the wheel and put it on straight. Since the tabs that hit the cancel cam are on the column they are in the wrong position when the front wheels are in the straight-ahead position.
There is a mark (or should be) on the column and a matching one on the steering wheel. They should be lined up and at the 12 O'clock position when the wheels are pointed straight ahead. You should be able to see them with the horn pad off.
Fixing the problem is pretty straightforward. You lengthen one tie-rod end and shorten the other the same amount. It would be best to have a competent mechanic do it but, it is not out of the realm for a guy working in his garage.
