Re: AC Question
Never heard of one that deletes the center vents, but you can get a heater only HVAC control panel. Now when you say everything, you've got the compressor, evaporator, condensor, accumulator and orifice tube out? and you've replaced the evaporator with a heater only box, correct? If all of that is not out, then make sure you get the heater only box and control panel from the same car, it's just easier.
Outside of this, the HVAC flapper box (or air direction controller if you must) is the same for heater or non heater. I would preserve the wires if you can. Usually, you can sell the whole AC unit for a fair chunk of cash (if it's complete and functioning), Or if you ever decide to put it back.

Re: AC Question
yeah I got the controls but stupidly cut the pull wires and the control in my car are vacuum controlled not wire. Is there a way to take the ***** off so I could just switch the front plate
I had to break up the inside box of the doner car to get a bolt out for the engine compartment box (it was stripped) and at the time I didn't think about converting the interior.
I read that the camaro came with block off panels for the vents, but the doner car had vents

Re: AC Question
Unfortunately you can't change faceplates. There's a different ammount of swing on the selectors and it would be off. All HVAC controls are vacuum controlled, the vent flaps and the coolant diverter are run by vacuum. The rest (fan speed, relays for AC, etc) are electrical
