I was wondering if there was ever a rear well shelf for the cars with the motorized hatch pulldown?

I'd like to have the hard shelf to install into my 1992 RS, but don't want to loose the hatch motor, and was trying to avoid chopping up one to attempt to fit. With the knowledge that one exists in the world, I'll know I'm not looking in vain. Thanks.

 

they had em for the stationary latch and the pull down motor latch. I got an '84 berlinetta with stationary with a cover, and then i got an '86 berlinetta with the pulldown and it has the cover. Between those two years they changed the rear cargo panel (with has the molded in shelf for the cover) and obviously the motor, the switch from the '89 to '90 interior i don't know if they changed it again since you got the plastic pulldown motor which if i understand correctly is smaller, i don't know though. But to your main answer, they had that rear hard cover for stationary and pull down latches.

 

Just like 84 said, they do have them. I have on from an 89 Camaro in my 88 Trans Am. Everything went in perfectly.
