For example, the split rear seat into a car which wasn't designed for it.

Thanks James, I didn't feel like going into detail. All the rear seats in theory fit but there are difference and the differences can be fixed. I will go into detail now, I bought my 89 and needed new seats, I bought a complete set of seats from an early Bird with the rear split back. Now my can didn't have the provisions for split back so I had to get the mount and the seat frames. I got the floor mount, the frames, and changed everything over.
