87 Firebird Seat Help
Im gonna be removing all my seats soon. i wanted to know before i go ahead with it, is there any special things i should know,any special steps i should take, is it difficult? and any special tools nessesary. thanks guys.

i think a 14 mm socket wrench is just about all you need and a phillips head screw driver to get the seat belt guides off the front seats to detach them from the seat belts. Other than that, move the front seat foward...get the the covers off the bolt covers with the phillips head screwdriver, then use the 14 mm socket wrench to get the bolt. Do the same for the front after sliding the seat all the way back...that describes the front seats...for the rear, get the bottom cusion out first with the 14 mm bolt in the middle of the bottom cusion on the bottom. Take out both sides then get the bolt out of the hinge on each side with the socket wrench, it's all pretty self explanatory as you get into it. I may have confused 14 mm for 13 in some places but thats about all you'll need...a phillips head screwdriver, a socket wrench and a couple sockets. And this is not hard unless the bolts or screws are rusted. Then you'll have to drill or cut them out accordingly.
