Sheet Metal Door Panels

hey guys, how about sheet metal? would sheet metal door panels work?? would it be too heavy? and would it burn me during the summer?
cuz i can get some sheet metal fairly easy and then just painting it would be the easiest thing for me.... has any1 done it before?? if u have can we see some pics

ive also seen it on a bunch of race cars, but im thinking of daily driver cars... i want to know what they would look like

same here, the car i just bought the interior and shot and im kinda going for the old skool drag car feel on the interior

if you have access to a sheet metal brake, you can make them look decent.
i you are planning on screwing, ziptie, or liquid nail a piece of rusty metal on, please re think things.
wolfe has a set of panels that are nice for ready made panels.
they are pricey if you work with metal, but if you arent familiar with metal working, its best to buy the prefabs.

ah i thought wolfe had them, but they are for 4th gens.
ed quay and smiths might have them. none on their website.

you are correct. but the door handle is moved just a touch. not sure how that would interfer. either a gap, or have to modify the panel.
its a good possibility they can fit.
