Seat Springs

The tension return springs on both the driver and passenger seats of my 91 TA have broken and I am looking for replacements. I could not locate any NOS parts and was thinking of having them fabricated. Has anyone done this and is it cost effective instead of buying a junk pair of seats? These are the springs that bring the seat forward on the seat tracks when you want to move the seat forward. Any help would be appreciated.

Re: Seat Springs

Thanks. Were they from a Chevy dealer or parts broker? The Pontiac dealer in my area said they were not available and I'm thinking these are probably the same on both the Camaros and Firebirds.
