Car is an '87 IROC originaly a hardtop that was modded with C&C t-tops. After 18 years the cardboard headliner was completely shot, and split into several pieces on it's way out of the car last summer, while the foam and fabric simply disintegrated.

After plenty of searching and reading in addition to my own observation, I've figured that all they did was cut the hardtop headliner and pull and glue the fabric up out of the way.

Has anyone else done this with a new uncovered ABS headliner? Is it better to get an uncovered one and some fabric, or get a covered one and trim the fabric somehow? Has anyone ever taken any pics or measurements of this?
