Re: new seats?
Look better than the stained, ripped nasty seats in my '84. Hard to find decent used ones for much less than that. Go for it.

Re: new seats?
I am posting on my brothers name..my name is KJZ28/TA
I bought those seats in black cloth/Vinyl I have them for my 78 Z28. I have yet to install them because my car is still under construction.
They are sitting in my Room.
They are very comfortable once you get used to them. The bolstering is what takes getting used to. I was recommended to get them from someone who does road trips in those seats and the guy loves them!
Great buy...do it. Just inspect them well since they are cheap sometimes the material could have rips and stuff. Just send it back for defects. My passenger side is PERFECT! But the driver side had a little pull in one spot, but I am not picky.
ENJOY!! Best deal your going to get.

Re: new seats?
I would not buy seats for 300 dollars/pair. They may look decent now, but what about 2 yrs...there is a reason good seats cost much much more. You get what you pay for. IMO i vote no on those seats.

Re: new seats?
just because the seats are cheaper in price doesnt mean they are poor quality, i have a set of seats that i bought for 200.00 and i have had them for 2 years and they look like they did when i first got them. But before you get them, i suggest you make sure the dimensions are right, some of the racing seats are too tall or too wide and dont really fit properly, especially since you will have to modify brackets to put them in the camaro. Just do a lot of research before you committ to anything.

if quality racing seats could be made for 150 a piece then everyone would buy them and the companies the offer more expensive ones would be out of business......What kind of seats did you buy new for 200.00? I to am looking for replacements.

Re: new seats?
There is nothing wrong with them, another person has had those for three years no problems.
I know people with Corbeau seats that hate them and says for the money, bad quality.
They are not racing seats...because they recline, a real race seat is always fixed back.
I say if your on a tight budget, know how to weld go for it. I did.
