Hey guys. Im trying to make custom gauge overlays for my 85 mph speedo but im realizing that photoshop is not that user friendly. Or i just suck at it. Anyhow, i was wondering if anyone could hook me up with a photoshop file of their gauge overlays. I've asked a couple people but have gotten no responses. Allegedly they were in the tech files at one time but they arent anymore. Wonder why that is. I'd really appreciate any help anyone has to offer. By the way, they're for an 88 Camaro. 3rd Gen Pride!

 

Can you elaborate on what you mean by "custom gauge overlays"? If you describe what you want I could definitely photoshop something for you if thats what you're looking for.

 

I've got the ones I used in my first Fireturd, they wont help you out, but might give other people an idea of what you're looking for....
Be sure to use some good quality photo paper and be very careful removing the needles, or you could cut the overlays so you dont even have to take the needles off

 

I found i guy who did some sweet ones on here but cant get him to respond to me. This is what they look like. Ive got a photo printer and plan to laminate them afterward to hopefully make em last. These are the ones that i found. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

If someone can photoshop them for me, I could scan my speedometer face, (I already have) and send you the file. If you could hook me up, and send the new file back, i'd send you a copy of them via snail mail, printed on high quality paper with a photoprinter and laminated. I think they'll last like this. If they dont, just let me know and i'll print you new ones whenever. I just really want to get my hands on a set. Thanks alot guys!

 

these are some custom gauge overlays ive found, im sure you can get them in the older circular style too. if your still looking for some let me know, im sure i can work something up for you if you send me the file

 

i made mi own set, they turned out really nice, i have all colors and designs. here is one i was working on.

 

on a scale from 1-10
1 being easy.

how is this to do, I would like to stay with black but I like the CAMARO or IROC accent...

but a little scared about breaking a needle or something

he there, i would have to say its pretty easy, just take your time, and look at it first just to make sure you can do it, scale from 1-10 (2-3) so i'm sure you can do it. hope this helps, if you have any more questions just ask.

what are you looking for,because i have a lot of templates.

mine is a 115 mph set

would REALLY like black background with IROC in the speedo and
Z-28 in the rpm

would that be possible...and what cost??

I need the 115 mph round face set for the V6 Camaro V6 model. I wish I could find the white face set but I have seen around the forums that no one has them anymore. This is gonna be the first update I do to this car(Only had it a week)

 

Those look sweet! Reminds me of when I had my 87 vette and I changed the digital guage colors from green to red white blue.

You want me to make you a set? or do you want the pics so you can make your own set, cause if i make them for you i will have to take some pics to show you what they look like it the car, also you would have to let me know what you want on them,and i don't know what it will cost to get them laminated but it shouldn't be that much, mine are seven years old and they still look like the day they put in.just let me know what you want and i will see what i can do.

What dementions are the Speedo and Tach supposed to be??

 

jee i cant remember of the top of my head, i took my gauges out and measured them first, i can check tomorrow.

 

anyone have any idea about metric guages. I snagged some off of ebay but they are in mph. Looks good but not right for my car???
