Interior panel question
Ok, so I was searching up about painting the plastic interior panels with krylon fusion paint. All I pretty much read were bad stories about it fading and stuff. However, I noticed that one paint that people seem to like was the SEM paint, the Landau black one. I already have an entire set of black panels, however, there a bit faded and what-not. My question is, With the entire set of black panels I have, if I prep them properly, (give them a thorough cleaning and scratch them with steel wool) and paint them with a couple light coats, would it turn out good? I figure since the panels are already black, it would'nt be so bad. I'm just wondering if this is a good idea or not. My brother has 3 Full cans of this stuff, and i'm pretty much broke, so buying new black panels that are in great shape is out of the question lol.
Any opinions would be great!

Re: Interior panel question
It may look good for a little while, maybe a month or so, but I would not expect long lasting results. I think you'd be better off just waiting until you can get into a junkyard and get everything you need off of a donor car. Just my 2 cents.

I agree, go junk yarding like mad. If you don't find what you need pull parts and either sell them or trade them for what you need.

Dude, I painted my Original (tan) Interior all black & it's more than decent. It looks good. Get Good plastic paint, Adhesive promoter and if you want also a top clear coat.
* Don't be hasty in putting your pannels in so quickly though, give them enough time to cure.
P.s. that krylon fusion is junk. you can get duplicolor Interior/vinyl for a really decent price at any DIY auto parts.
