Door top rails

Has anyone used the new door top rails from hawks, classic or the like. I bought a set from (i reaaly don't remeber) and they are junk. They attach to the door panel with some type of metal staple and the fit is for S..t. Do the ones from hawks attach like oem with the nuts and studs? Can anyone recommend a new set? Thanks.

I ordered a set from classic industries. They look good but I haven't installed them yet. I hope there not the ones your talking about. I should get to installing them in a week or so. I'll let you know.

Re: Door top rails

I bought a set last year. They appear thinner and more flimsy than stock and instead of having the plastic studs that go through the door panel, they have metal 'nails'- like one leg of a staple- that I assume you press through the door panel and then fold over. Crap.

I bought them because the window felt on my stock one was rotten, so I ended up just tripping the felt off the new one and swapping it...
