Rear Panel - No Speaker Cutout?

I managed to find some NOS rear panels.

They do not have the cut out for either the rear speakers or the holes for the rear cloth (speaker cover) panels to fit into.

Has anyone heard of this?

Did the Camaro ever come without rear speakers or without cloth speaker covers?

Need to know..........thanks

Yeah Ive seen that before. Its just the rear plastic panels without the speaker holes cutout. They dont even have the indentation for the covers.I believe these were from cars that either (1) came with only an am radio or (2) Had an am/fm radio but did not get the stereo provisions

My 85 IROC was originally equipped with an AM radio and rear speakers. How about radio delete cars?

I had an 86 2.8 v6 5-speed that had the plastic panels with no speaker cutouts. The only option it had was A/C. Bare base model sport coupe. When I bought it the guy had put a pioneer radio in it with 2 4x6's and 2 12's. That was the whole system. Sounded better than you'd think.

My 82 SC was a complete stripper. 4 cyl, vinyl seats, 4 speed stick... AM radio with only the front 4x6s and those same blank rear panels.
