What is that little bell sound called when you put the key in the ignition. I have a 87 GTA and its about dead and gone. I want to replace that with a new one. What is it called so I can know what to ask for?

i just call it "the really annoying sound," or "the sound from hell," but i think its just called a buzzer or somethin along those lines.

In the column there is a little metal contact. Maybe try pulling it out and cleaning it? Search for "loose steering wheel." Someone posted an awesome reply with a column diagram with all the pieces listed.
