1987 20th Anniv IROC SPEEDO Question
1987 20th Anniv IROC SPEEDO Question I have a 1987 20th anniv IROC. I was wondering if it was common that the speedo tops out at 85 MPH? Seems unusual, but I really dont know. any help is appreciated. Philip

very common, it was a federal mandate that cars only go up to 85 MPH back then. i dunno when it changed over...if it was before 87, then your speedo may have been replaced or the 145 one only came in cars with certain options.
