The roof on my 85 Z28 leaks a real bad drip when it rains. At first I thought it was T-tops, but now I'm not so sure...

I've tried taking the tops off, pulling the weather stripping back from where it meets the body of the car and injecting permatex gasket sealer all in that spot. I also tried Covering the areas where the T-tops meet with the pillars but it in STILL leaking. I had to put a pot on my drivers seat because when I got home just now, my sun visor was soaked, the entire drivers seat was wet and it soaked through the seat (Did I forget to mention the bonus here is that it is a power seat?) and dampened the floor. The passengers side would leak less severe, and so would the back seat area, but I'm thinking It's entering through one spot on the drivers side and running all throughout the roof to different areas of the car. The worst point of leaking is through the holes where the ceiling liner clips into (My car currently is missing this piece) on the drivers side just behind the windshield, and through the screws of the divers side visor mount.

Where is5 this coming from? Side window, windshield or T-Top most suspect? Also the grove in the T-top weatherstripping is bone dry when I lift them, so I dont think It's coming in there.

Re: Roof Leaking. HELP!!!
That is how I thought mine were leaking for a long time. Turns out the seal between the glass and the t-top hard had disbonded.
There is no way to replace it. I found that a bead of 3M Yellow weather striping glue protected by black RTV where the glass meets the trim on the t-top works wonders.
