i'm having a huckuva time getting my console out...anybody know any tricks...trying to replace the rug but this thing is a bear....

what part are you stuck on?

 

take out the radio take out the shifter plate

lift the console lif and there should be 1-2 bolts holding it to the floor.

also may be a bolt behind the radio holding down in the front

and 1 last bolt in the very center look inside near the shifter after you remove the shifter plate

the whole top of the console should come off after teh torx botls are out

and the bottom piece comes out after all the inner bolts are removed
slides right out a tight fit with the ebrake and where the radio housing touches the dash


just wiggle it and pull out

 

There is also a screw or two in the bottom of the box between the seats
