Hey guys, I just bought A Grant steering wheel, I don't have a steering wheel puller so I want to take it somewhere to have them do it, do any of you know a known place where I can get the steering wheel off? I have a airbag, I assume its more difficult then standard, can you guys think of any place where they will do the job for me? Thank you guys.

From standard bulky airbag wheel to Grant's Classic steering wheel

 

It's really not any harder than any other wheel. Buy a $10 wheel puller, and you'll get off cheaper than a shop. Disconnect the battery, pop out the airbag, then it comes off like any other wheel. There's one big nut you take off, then use the puller to pop the steering wheel off. Then, install the new one and you're done.

 

Disconnect the battery , pull the air bag fuse , disconnect the yellow plug and remove the two bolts from behind. Slowly remove the air bag and place in face down on the ground or bench. Then use the pulley to remove. FYI I have taken an air bag apart in the yard to get a good cover for a blown one for cheap. I even threw the thing across the yard and it never blew.
