Modifying ABS hardtop headliner to work with C&C t-tops?

Has anyone tried this? My idea is to cut out the t-top openings, and cover it with headliner foam. Is it even possible to cover the ABS liners? I think doing it this way would keep me from having to spray glue a normal headliner board to the roof, for it to stay up.

I'll probably get one uncovered, I think it would be easier to cut it first, then cover it, rather than trying to carefully cut it and salvage enough slack to wrap up into the t-top openings. I'm trying to avoid having to spray glue the headliner board to the roof like crazy (like C&C did) to keep it from sagging.

yea i have done it with my c&c t-tops. u need to make teh headliner flat so cut the side walls of the center part of the abs headliner, match/line it up to your t-tops and have it covered and your good to go.

word of caution:

try to glue or attach the headliner clips for the front

i didnt and the front center dips/sags

jsut be ready to take care of that

goodluck
