DIY Carpet
I was pretty sure this would have been posted but I searched and didn't quite find what I was looking for.
I have an 82 Camaro that is a mostly strip car but is driven on the street. I would like to carpet the car again. The problem is that I have a lot of "custom" things in the car and a regular carpet kit just won't work. I have a 10 point cage, my seats are mounted 6" behind the stock brackets, I have wiring, an MSD box, etc all mounted inside the car.
I think it would be cool to carpet the car myself. Right now I am prepping the floorpans, sanding and painting.
Is there an online tutorial or anything regarding do it yourself carpeting. It wouldn't need to be show quality, just enough to deaden the sound a bit.
Thanks!
