just alittle something i decided to do b/c the 82-84 had some carry over items from the 80-81 turbo T/A's. so i thought it would look like it belonged.
i know the wheel needs to be recovered. i used my fact hub and horn backing plate and horn button to keep some of the early 3rd gen appeal to it. i think it looks cool. what do u all think. good and bad welcomed.

Personally I think it would look better if the spokes were painted black, the bare metal color doesn't really match. But that would more or less make it just a normal TA steering wheel with holes in the spokes. Otherwise looks good though.

yeah i battled with that when i put it on. i thought it would be to much black. i am alos looking for some engine turned aluminum for the gauge bezel and will be aluminum so it will match then. but thanks.

nice... i also have that style wheel in my car,my friend pulled it off a 67?GTO, its black w/ the red 2gen firebird logo and needs to be recovered but i think they have a cool retro look to them

good articles on refinishing a wheel ithink i may try one out http://www.mustangmonthly.com/techar...ion/index.html

I think it looks pretty good and doesn't look out of place... I would do the same thing if I didn't already have a Grant wheel...
