A/C line insulation?

Has anyone tried insulating the A/C lines, specifially the one from the condenser outlet to the evaporator, and the accumulator as well? I'm wondering if this would get the A/C to blow colder, especially since the line runs right next to the exhaust manifold. I'm not really sure how much heat is picked up in this area though, so it might not be worth it.
