Does it look okay?
I repainted my door handles and I would like to know what you guys think. I used SEM Portola Red paint, it was closest I could find to the GM Carmine Red. I also used Duplicolor adhesion promotor first though. It did come out lighter, and I notice it, but is it obvious? They looked awful before, they turned black from years of dirty elbows. I'm going to need to do all of my hatch area plastics with this paint too. Also, I notice the new paint has a rough gritty feel to it, am I supposed to use a clear coat?

it is lighter, but i think it look fine. Its kind of a mid tone between the carpet and the rest of the panel.

Thanks ya'll
. I don't think I will find a closer match than this. I had to order it from Eastwood, everything at the local parts stores was bright red. My hatch plastics are badly faded, I can't wait to see what difference it makes on them.
