Cheap gauge cluster

My gauges have finally stood on my last nerve. The speedo quit working (it reads then stops, reads then stops) and the needle fell off the temp gauge. Everything else works as well as can be expected from stock gauges, but I'm ready to upgrade. I don't have a lot of money though. Covan's Classics sells a nice looking unit but I can't afford $550-$800 for this stuff. Is there anywhere that sells something like the Covan's classics unit with less expesive gauges? I may be able to swing $200. This may be an impossible budget for this project, but I'm going to research it anyway. Can you guys give me a plac to start?

Re: Cheap gauge cluster

go to your local junk yard and see if you can find a 3rd Gen and take its cluster.

I don't want stock gauges anymore. I will probably end up doing some fab work, but what are some dependable low cost gauges and where can I ge them?

Re: Cheap gauge cluster

200$ will not be enough to replace all your gauges with aftermarket ones.

All you can do is go with some junkyard parts.
