does a 4th gen console fit 89 camaro
the birds and the 91/92 camaro don't have the radio/hvac in the same spot as an earlier camaro and the pictures on this site with 4th gen consoles are all birds, 91/92's or did the whole 4th gen interior. i was wondering if there was an option for earlier camaros like 82-90 and use a 4th gen console.

I think in order to make a 4th gen console "look good". You have to use a Firebird radio pod. I don't think Camaro's ever came with independent radio pods...

Thank you HCR13, I really appreciate it. I would like to do this swap in my 86 IROC (I know the dash is different.) I have an 85 T/A too, and will almost def. do this swap as the center console is trashed anyways. I like cupholders, what can I say?
Anyone got pics of one in a Camaro, with thirdgen dash? I want it to look right.....
