4th gen door panels in a 3rd gen?
do 4th gen door panels go into a 3rd almost no problem, i thought i heard that somewhere?

There are some mods needed to make them fit. I've only seen it done a couple times on here. They won't simply drop in, trim here & there & call it done.

I'm not sure if they will clear a third gen dash, either. I've only seen them done with a 4th gen dash swap as well. Keep in mind that you'll have to make the door handles and locks work with the third gen hardware too.

No you dont have to use a 4th gen dash. my buddy has some real nice leather panels and seats and still has his 3rd gen dash.

You dont need a 4th gen dash. I have the stock dash in mine. Heres my build up thread, sorry if some of the pics are gone, you should get the general idea.
