Aftermarket Carpet Options?

I'm going to replace my carpet but I don't like the style of the stock carpet. I want really dense, low-pile stuff. Like What they have in office buildings and other high traffic, public areas. Is there pre-molded carpet like that?

If I have to, I don't mind molding it myself. As long as there is a type of carpet that's moldable with a heat gun that I can get. Speaking of which, does any one know if there is such a thing and where to get it?

I'm also going to be laying down raamat. Don't know if that affects anything.

Why would you want the interior of your car to look like an office building?

Hahahaha. I see your point. I don't want it to look like an office building, but i just want carpet that is akin to a Marine's haircut as opposed to that horrible bleached, spikey hair that was so popular a few years ago. The stock carpet I have now is kinda shaggy and I don't like that. The whole interior of my car is going to be made of nubuck, leather, brushed aluminum, and probably some carbon fiber. All of those are pretty clean looking materials, except nubuck, so even semi-shaggy carpet wouldn't look good.

Re: Aftermarket Carpet Options?

Just ask the carpet company for loop instead of cut-pile. That Loop pile is VERY office like.
