Rear Hatch Latch

Hey all..........

need a little help I need the entire rear hatch for a 91 Z the power down one, or heck if it can be changed to a manual one let me know where and how but I need one I looked in the and they were clear plastic pieces laying around and it doesnt seem like the motor is doing anything dont know if that is the relay or what..............

Look to the right of the screen for TOP Down Solutions. First, I would download the repair instructions to see what you are facing. They also have all the parts to put back in operating condition. It dose not require a mechanical genius to do this repair.

I was going to change my non power hatch to a power pull down, until I took a look at what needs to be done.

The mounting bracket is completely different, and it's welded to the car. So you would have to cut one off of a donor car, and then cut the one off your car, and then reweld.

I decided after looking at both, it wasn't worth it. Especially since these seem to break so easily.
