Dash Cluster
Hey everybody! Just seeing how hard it might be to just wire up my own dash cluster! Can I use the wires that are already there!? I looked at a set somewhere and saw it cost like $750 and I dont have that kind of money! lol. So somebody help me out here! I need some ideas or something!

Re: Dash Cluster
Its pretty easy. I didnt see what car you have but if you have an 82-89 camaro you can get the covans "Blank" panel for like 100.oo or so. Then you buy a few gauges at a time until you have them all. The wiring is really easy and if you have an electronic speedo, thats easy too. I find that projects will turn out best if you are patient and ask lots of questions. If you dont have all the money you will need, save up, the outcome will be better!

Re: Dash Cluster
thanks man! and yeah its a 87 camaro convertible. Its a Mechanical speedo w/ the cable. I can be patient... especially when I lack the money! lol. But is it possible for all the other gauges to use the factory wires? like the temperature gauge... can I just use the wires that are there? just an example!
