Infiniti g35 seats?
Hey guys
I drove my buddies g35 ( 2 door) yesterday and his seats were amazing, and I was wondering if anybody knew if the g35 seat's would fit. I plan on removing the stitching if they fit. Bust on the seats but there nice as heck.

Re: Infiniti g35 seats?
Got to take a look today. Measurements came from an '04 coupe.
Well you would be able to close the doors with the seats in as they are about 21 " at the widest points. That will fit within our third gen cab. That's about it for positives.
True challenges would be where they mount of course. The holes in the seat tracks/mount points are wider and longer in all cases
D-side approx 19 1/2 across, 16 front to back
P side approx 17" across, 16 front to back.
Other differences is that the d-side has curved mount points in the front unlike our flat ones. Perhaps hammering straight would make it work.
Bigger obstacle is the different elevation mounting points on the passenger seat closest to the tranny tunnnel. They are a good 3 in higher than the points near the door.
I didnt go as far as to take the g35 seats out and see how good the third gen seat tracks might line up and bolt to the seat cushions, but unless your a welding genius this would be the best likely option.
Good luck if you decide to give it a go

Anything's possible w/ enough creativity. Right now i'm running '03 Viper seats in my Dodge Intrepid w/ minimal additional bracketry. Much improved over stock to say the least.

Just make your own seat mounts. That is what I did with my Corbeau Forza seats. No way was I spending $80 per seat mount just so they have the word "Corbeau" on them!
By making custom mounts, you can also make the seats sit lower and give them a little angle. Since I'm 6'3" I need a ton of room so I could fit in my car with a helmet on. My custom mounts gave about 1"-2" more of much needed head room.
