I was looking on putting a 4th gen dash and console into my '89 bird and was wondering what you guys think of this deal I found via craigslist: http://seattle.craigslist.org/est/pts/948420664.html It seems pretty cheap compared to others I've found.

Do you think I should go ahead and get it? Or you think I should be able to work down the price some? From what I know, I can get all this to work in my car with some modding.

 

Doesnt seem to be a terrible deal at all, is the console auto or 6sp? If only the door panels werent tan...... (Unless you WANT tan)

Well I was planning on figuring out a way to dye the door panels. I figured it couldn't be that hard to dye them black. Is there anything I need to look out for if its a 6spd or auto? I'm going to take a look at it on Sunday.

 

There are a few threads of guys painting interior panels black using dupli colour interior trim paint and the results were very nice. Just do a search. Painting the tan panels should be effortless.

 

Is there anything I should look out for, or make sure that's there when I go check this out tomorrow? Certain things I should check? Just want to make sure its not lacking something crucial then feel like a complete idiot when I start to mess around with and notice it missing.
