84 z-28 camaro (help)

I has been sulking around and finally register for this question.

I am in progress of taking my front seats out. I already take passenger seat out and going over to driver and I figured that I need to move my seat forward to get to 2 bolts behind the seat.

Heres the problem; The seat is electrical, I already cut the wires off...
How can I move seat forward without hook wires up again?

Thanks

Umm, I don't think you can just make a quick splice to a power source even if its straight to the battery. Unless you completely cut the wires all the way, why you would do that is beyond me

I am because I am going to get another seat. So the wire will be useless to me. Some guy here in Austin want the front seats. So I think i can cut the wires but above plug. Im stuck. Would I have to splice the wire and hooked them up to battery and move the seat forward?

You should try to hook the seat up to a battery, which would work, or as I was able to do on my '72 Lemans, (this may not be relevant in your situation) reach under the seat with a pair of vice grips and turn the boltt about 1/10 of a turn at a time.

I dont see why you just didnt unplug the wires? I had an 84' Z28 with power seats, and it had a plug...

I will try hook it up with battery and see how things re going,
for your help.
Yes I would unplug it too but a guy need the plugs on both side.

Should I get different wheel for my Camaro? Its American racing version 1 of something.
