Steering hub question

Question for you guys...My car appears to have a 1970's camaro steering wheel (which I HATE). Ive found another steering wheel to buy (going back to factory wheel) but it doesnt come with the steering wheel hub. So, my question is will the hub that is on my car now work with the factory 1988 steering wheel or do I need to buy another hub?
Here are some pics

If I need another hub where do I buy it?

Re: Steering hub question

the factory wheel (3rd gen) should have the hub attached to it.... not sure if the hub is attached to the current steering wheel. Do you have pics of the 3rd gen wheel?

Re: Steering hub question

As a side note, when you swap steering wheels, swap that little clip as well (after throwing on a Grant a few years ago, I didn't and the nut had a tendency to loosen up, so much so that on vacation I was forced to stop at a shop and tighten it up).

Here is a pic of the steering wheel Im buying. Is that the hub or do I need something else? Also, will I need a steering wheel puller?

X2 .....mine actually came off at a Sonic Drive thru!

something doesn't look right about that wheel, there should be a hole in the middle where the steering shaft should go through so you can tighten it down... maybe its becasue I'm not familiar with Camaro wheels, but all the ones I've seen have a hole, other than that, it looks like the hub is already on there...minus the hole...
