a-piller gauge cluster
I have a 91 firebird with t-tops. After doing searches as far as i can tell the three gauge clusters that jegs and other places sell will fit in place of the original piller correct? I want it to look like it was original. I like things to look all clean and neat. My main question is when purchasing gauges should i get mechanical ones or electic ones. Ive never done any aftermarket gauges in any car ive ever owned. Any suggestions, tips, tricks. I would appreciate any help or comments anyone has. I am currently looking at getting the three pod piller and the carbon fiber gauges...i think i would look good with the stock gauges that are in there. I might upgrage stock gauges to carbon fiber later also. Im not sure yet.

Re: a-piller gauge cluster
Yeah, its the Autometer gauge cluster. The fitment isn't 100% the best, I'd say maybe 95%. Mainly because the bottom gauge pod hits or digs into the dashpad. The finish itself does not match the stock, but its barely noticeable. If you want both pillars to match, I would probably sand them both down smooth. Go with electric gauges, you don't want tubes with hot and volatile substances going into the cabin and those tubes would be hard to work into the a pillar hidden...
