seats

front seats wont stay latched, the seats can be pushed forward w/o pulling the **** up

That is the way GM designed them. They lock up in a sudden stop. I don't know why GM installed the latch for.

My seats never move. Must be talking about the seat belts. I had one do the same thing. Something was stuck in the track, not letting the lock work. Just an idea. Best bet it to pull the seat,& take a look. Its an easy job.

Seatbelts work the sameway, they lock up on sudden stops also. Not like the seatbelts today, you can get them to lock by pulling on them. As a original owner, that was my explaination from day one. GM's bright ideas.
