Selling the rest for my cost, $40 shipped for a whole set!

Starting a new thread now that I got my first lot made...

I designed a 3 piece overlay set that will fit 3rd gen Firebirds. One piece for the gauge cluster (see pic for compatibility with your model), one for the radio (for 1-DIN aftermarket radios, will not fit the stock radio), and one for a map pocket delete. The pictures DO NOT do justice to the brushed stainless, I used a high quality, beautiful sheet. It isn't too reflective so it does blend pretty well with the factory grey color.

I got 10 sets of these babies laser cut from .032 brushed stainless steel today and selling them at basically cost to anyone interested. I'm going to either sell them on my own site or on a 3rd gen sponsor site in the near future for a slightly higher price. Also included are stainless steel rivets, or button-cap bolts if you prefer that method.

gauge cluster looks great.but i would use stainless allen headed buttonhead bolts (like 8/32's) with nylok nuts instead of rivets.

 

Yeah, the holes are 1/8" so you can use M3 bolts if you want. I used rivets because you cant easily get to the backside of the map pocket!

 

looks good! id be interested in some camaro ones.

Any chance of making console bezels in the future? I'd pick up a complete set for the wife's Formula if I could get the dash, radio pod, dash pouch, and console bezel together.

If You could make a piece to cover the center console too I would buy a set right now, but id brush it and paint it black...

 

I think they'd look better with no rivet/bolt heads.

Use double-sided emblem adhesive tape & there would be no concern for any lack of strength holding them on.

It's alot of investment $$ to make a new piece because of the min. charge that laser cutting shops charge. Can't really make one offs!

I'll probably just Flea-Bay the rest of my stock on these!
