So I bought a perfect mint dash pad to replace my original which finally got a small crack and which Safelite Autoglass decided to crack even worse.

It looks like UPS put weight on the middle of it during shipping. You know that center portion between between the 2 defroster vents, well it has a 1" crack starting from the passenger inside corner of it It also has a tincy tiny one on the opposite side bit it's only like 2mm long at this point.

Before I use some Mother Back to Black and install it with my new 4x6 speakers, what would you guys suggest to put in the tiny crack to prevent it from getting bigger? I was just thinking a tiny bit of superglue applied with care and cleaned up correctly. Hopefully the Back to Black will keep the glue from standing out.

Any thoughts?

id go with a little jb weld - 3900 psi hold, easy to clean up has good resistance to heat and if the crack is as small as it sounds you might be able to get away without even having to use any touch up

I don't think I would use superglue. Some of that stuff will attack foam and then you will have an even bigger problem.

They do make a black silicone caulk that you could put in the crack and clean up the excess. That would stay flexible more like the orriginal vinyl.
