I have purchased a Summit sport seat and a 4th gen bracket from a 97 firebird in hopes that when I get my bird back I would have a nice new seat to go in it. The 4th gen bracket will not mount to the summit seat and I am afraid that the bracket from my 3rd gen will not work as well. Summit does not make a bracket for this seat. Any advice would be appreciated.

Those are the Scat seats, I bought the Summit brand

I understand that, but I found those 2 parts by searching Summit seats, not Scat nor seats in general.

 

I called Summit Tech Support and they said that the Scat brackets are not compatable with the Summit seats.

 

Then ask for a set of the direct fit brackets, which I saw, in a kit with the seats. 2 seats, 2 brackets, $406 for all 4.

 

I am going to try and make this seat work since I have already paid 200 for it. I was hoping someone would know of a bracket that will work with the Summit seat or how to make a custom bracket.
