Ok so i'm slowly getting my car to look good b/c it needs some help but the one thing that ercks me is when i get in my car and i go to start it the RPM gauge is bouncing back and forth at start up then when it starts the dam gauge is pinned.The MPH gauge is fine but this is a pain in my butt.I don't want to go aftermarket b/c i want the car to look factory except for some mods but the gauges i want to stay stock.So can anyone tell me in detail how to correct this problem?Thanks.

 

lose the color and size . it's a common enough problem , mine does the same but not as bad . there are several write ups on repairs , try the search function at the top of the page . you will find several fixes . the 90,91,&92 are different than the others , so look up correct year . good luck . BTW your car in your avatar looks just like mine .

 

I fixed mine because of the same problem. All you have to do is be comfortable with soldering and cutting of electrical parts.

 

Can you take a pic of your car so i can see how you did it so i don't mess anything up?
