Can someone tell me if the 89-92 door panels will fit on my 86 camaro.... ive been looking at the pics on 1A Auto and they seem a bit different... please let me know asap please yall...



power locks, power windows, manual mirrors

 

The basic panels will swap fine, between all Firebirds & Camaros.

The only issues you'll run into are power mirrors/power windows/power locks & such.....wiring in the door.....GTA arm rests vs all the other arm rests.....Stuff like that.

With a little work, I've seen 4th gen door panels put in, but those might only line up good with a 4th gen dash. Not sure about that.

 

I don't see why they wouldn't. I've heard of folks swapping between Firebird and Camaro door panels. I imagine they all bolt up the same way.

All 82-92 Camaro door panels are the same. Also, the 82-86 Firebird door panels are interchangeable with the Camaro door panels. However, some of the '87-up Firebirds used a different door handle trim piece so the panels have different openings for the door handles. You can use those panels in a Camaro as well but you need make sure you get the right door handle trim pieces to match. You can even install the molded GTA style door panels but you have to get the armrest mounting brackets that are rivited to the door.
