So im replacing the window felts/weatherstripping, and I cant figure out how to take off the top panel that is attached to the interior window weatherstrip. When I took the one off on the passenger side it broke off where it attaches to the door panel which i guess was cardboard or whatever. Any suggestions would be helpful, Thanks

 

the big black piece at the top?

roll window down, unclip(pull out) all the little clips that push into the door around bottom of door panel


once the whole bottom is free, push the top towards the window and up, a few gentle taps with my palm always helps me(which is upward-towards window/outside of car).
