Did a little Interior work.

So I've been messing around a bit trying to make my Z a little different than the rest and try to keep costs down. I used some Duplicolor Mirage paint a new to me dash pad new carpet and I put in the door panels that came as extras with the car, I also painted all the brown plastics black but as funds allow I will be swapping out the pieces for actual black ones. I'll try to post pics of everything installed tomorrow weather permitting.

Re: Did a little Interior work.

I had the entire interior out of the car used some seam sealer, sound deadener, a whole lot of wire over all I think the car is coming along quite well. Next step is picking up my paint supplies so the exterior can look the way I want it to.

Re: Did a little Interior work.

Thanks, I've gotta re-calibrate the Speedo, I got a ticket cop said he clocked me at 72 in a 60 speedo said 68, I know I was still speeding but the ticket would've been 50 bucks less if it had been under 10 mph over the limit. The pics I have really don't do the interior justice it l;ooks the best with the t-tops off and sun shining in. Everything sparkles and just looks really trick. I didn't think I'd like it but it looks awesome.

That looks pretty smooth! Are you going to tie in the shifter plate ?

Re: Did a little Interior work.

I did tie it in. I have pretty much done everything that has the textured surface in it. All the smooth surfaces were treated with gloss black and the only parts I have yet to do are the door trim pieces, I had to find more of the paint it was discontinued around here so it took some searching. More pics to come waiting on the wife to bring the camera home.
