Lightweight Carpeting Ideas?
Lightweight Carpeting Ideas?
Well im dealing with the GTAs very old and beaten interior (Arizona car) and I decided to change it out to make her nice again. So im starting up the research of whats best where to go and I just keep thinking that I might be able to save some weight while im at this.
The question there being. What brand out there makes the lightest carpet, OR! does someone have a creative solution that will work in place of aftermarket carpet. Other than taking a can of Rhino Liner to the floor pan haha. I still want carpet, but I dont care about things like sound deadener and the like. I had heard that Marine grade carpet is significantly lighter. Any thoughts? I was worried that would look shoddy.
INPUT PLEASE!

Most aftermarket carpets are lighter since they do not have the heavy rubber backing that the factory carpet does. You can get it as an option for more $

How heavy could the factory/replacement carpet be? Is it going to help by much? Use rice paper, just cut strips off a civic. Haha
