Fixing my horn
I've searched and can't find anything that helps. I have no horn or I should say working horn. Previous owner gave me a little pin about maybe a half an inch big that he said he pulled out to stop the horn from blaring.
Can anyone tell me where this pin goes? Or where the horn even is? I assume its under the panel in the front by the radiator under the hood.
Who will have first dibs at making me look retarded?

Re: Fixing my horn
Im not sure about the little pin, but I can tell you where the horns are located, at least on a 91-92 model. Its inside the drivers side fender up at the front behind the turn signal side lamp. There are two horns in my car side by side, and its stock, so I assume they are all like that. Removal of the drivers side fender is a must if you plan to mess with the horns themselves.
Did the guy specifically say he pulled the pin from the horn up front? It could be the pin that goes inside the sterring wheel cap, it has a pin in there with a spring around it that makes contact to blow the horn when you push the button. Of course the pin Im talking about is more than 1/2" long. Id say its around 2 inches. If this is indeed the pin he pulled, it was probably because the spring got too soft to hold the pin properly so it just sat there making contact the entire time and blowing the horn.
Hope this help or at least points you in the right direction.
