dimmer rod pivot switch

dimmer rod pivot switch

so i was adjusting the dimmer switch on the steering column and the dimmer rod came loose from inside the steering column by the multifunction lever. and the plastic piece that connects the dimmer rod to the multifunction lever fell out. is there anyway to put this back in? and are there other parts that im not seeing that connect these things.
